Channel parameter is firstly estimated with the aid of pilot symbols, and then is refined by using soft information from data symbol after rake receiver. Parallel interference cancellation (PIC) is adapted to multicode interference (MCI) at the second step. Simulation Results show that the error floor of the system can be reduced significantly. The effect of different parameter on the symbol error ratio (SER) performance of the multicode CDMA are also investigated in this paper, such as the quality of channel estimation PIC cancellation factor and the number of parallel interference cancellation.","PeriodicalId":336216,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Neural Networks and Signal Processing, 2003. Abstract
