HUBUNGAN KEPATUHAN MENJALANI TERAPI HEMODIALISA DENGAN KUALITAS HIDUP PASIEN GAGAL GINJAL KRONIK

Abstract

Undergoing hemodialysis therapy will determine the quality of life of patients with chronic kidney failure. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of adherence to hemodialysis therapy with the quality of life of patients with chronic kidney failure at Besemah Hospital, Pagar Alam City. This type of research is descriptive correlation using a cross sectional approach. The sample in this study were patients with chronic kidney failure who underwent hemodialysis from 3 May – 2 June 2021. Data collection techniques used primary data obtained through direct research using questionnaire sheets. The data analysis technique used the Chi-Square statistical test (χ2). The results showed that of the 30 patients with chronic renal failure who underwent hemodialysis therapy, there were 9 hemodialysis patients who were not compliant (30%), there were 6 hemodialysis patients with poor quality of life (20%) and 3 hemodialysis patients with good
