The value in kWh/y is adjusted with a coefficient of emission factor (CO2) for electrical energy. Further research will involve an analysis of other energy conservation measures and their impact on the reduction of harmful emissions. Abstract

The study uses saved energy (the expected annual economy of electrical energy) to describe the impact of energy conservation measures (ECM) on reducing CO2 emissions.
