Abstract

We investigate a technique to measure low level power line harmonics using adaptive cancellation of the fundamental component. The technique reduces the effect of quantization noise and extends the dynamic range of the analog-to- digital converter (ADC). It also enables good accuracy with a reduced bit ADC.
