Abstract
A frequency-tunable parity-time-symmetric optoelectronic oscillator with a single physical loop is proposed. Frequency-tunable single-mode oscillation from 2 to 12 GHz and a phase noise of −108 dBc/Hz at an offset frequency of 10 kHz is achieved.
