Abstract

More recently, there has been a growing development of concept of smart homes. This concept allows us to better see how smart devices operate and therefore the amount of energy they consume. As electricity saving is one of the main advantages of home automation, this paper presents the idea and implementation of one way to show and calculate the average power consumption of individual devices. The average consumption should be calculated using the appropriate algorithm to make the results shown more relevant.
