A semantic web platform for legal knowledge in cloud

Abstract

The paper presents roGSEM (Romanian Governmental Semantic Portal), a platform able to provide access to legal open governmental data: normative documents published by the Romanian state. The proposed solution is based on Semantic Web technologies and uses the information according to the Linked Data initiative. Also, roGSEM semantic data repository can be used by independent plug-ins, encouraging developers to create and deploy innovative applications and mashups that give an improved access to existing legal knowledge.
