Abstract

In this paper, we evaluate and analyze network coding across many sessions in random access wireless challenged networks with inherent resource limitations. The proposed work addresses the problem of joint optimal coding, rate control, power control and flow control schemes. For this, we employ cross-layer optimization model for multiple unicast sessions in the network with network coding and bandwidth constraints. This model is used to study throughput and power resource optimization in multi-flow challenged networks with correlated sources.
