Abstract

The combination of an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) technique and a coding scheme is seen as a promising broadcasting system to cope with the frequency-selective and time-variant channel. The first application of this technique using a convolutional coding scheme has been implemented within the framework of the Eureka DAB (digital audio broadcasting) project.
