Infornation Technology of Aerospace Images Fractal Analysis

Abstract

The article draws our attention to the information technology that uses a fractal analysis method to process remote sensing data. It is spoken in detail about satellite image processing stages using box-counting method for fractal dimension calculating. Possibility of using developed information technology for isolating the structural elements of hurricanes and typhoons on aerospace images of the Earth's surface is examined. Data are given about the results of using the developed technology on the example of satellite image of hurricane Yutu obtained via AQUA satellite.
