Abstract
In this paper, a 4-way power divider has been designed and simulated using Wilkinson method and Agilent Design System (ADS) software. This device is designed to divide the output power at the antenna array in the radar X-Band system. In the design process, Roger Duroid 4350B (RO4350B) is used as substrate for microstrip technology on operating frequency 8.5 to 9.5 GHz with 9 GHz as the center frequency. The device consists of a quarter-wavelength transmission line and isolation resistor with N-way tree/corporate structure's configuration. For reducing discontinuities such as right-angle bends, be used mitering techniques. The average measurement results are −23.29 dB of return loss, −6 dB of insertion loss and −22 dB of isolation, respectively.
