The unit cell is composed of a ring filed with multiple square loops and merged 45⁰ angular stubs while it is backed with a square patch. The simulation results show that the proposed FSBS provides absorption and partial reflection simultaneously on thirteen distinctive frequency bands ranging from C-band to K-band with maximum absorption of 99% on one side and 80% reflection from the other side. Abstract
