A Mortífera Normatividade: O silenciamento das dissidências sexuais e de gênero suicidadas

Abstract

The understanding of the suicidal behavior of the Brazilian sex-genderdiverse population can not be restricted to the prism of the singularity of the ones who attempt against their own life. It is necessary to consider the diffuse prejudice and discrimination and its effect on the experience of unbearable psychic suffering. In this sense, the present work aims to promote a critical reflection about the high of suicide case number of sexual and gender dissidents as a social phenomenon at the service of normativity. Through the sharing of research and data related to this phenomenon, the indifference of the State to the violent deaths of this population is seen here as a necropolitic directed to the deviant people. Such death policy would be a way of meeting society's longing for the elimination of those who challenge the dictates of cisheteronormativity.
