Presented review deals with current research situation, makes analysis and classification of publications on the topic with regards to scientific, temporal, geographic, etc. aspects in order to determine promising development trends. Publication base Scopus serves as a source for sampling. Analysis and sampling was implemented both in the manual mode and by means of special software for automated search by keywords. Sample could be considered as a representative one: about 2000 publications from more than 1000 sources. Network security research statistical characteristic obtained as a result of analysis were visualized in a graphic form by diagrams of different types.
