«ПОУЧЕНИЕ» ВОЛОДИМИРА МОНОМАХА КАК ЖАНР «ЯЗЫКА МУДРОСТИ»

Abstract

The paper proposes an interpretation of the monument of East Slavic literature "Instruction" by Prince Volodimir Monomakh as a work in the genre of "language of wisdom". The genres of the "language of wisdom" include teachings, edifications, instructions, sermons. In the "Instruction" Monomakh gives various instructionsto his children and society, sharing the experience and wisdom acquired over a long life. The instructions relate to morality, piety, life, economy, military affairs, law, management methods. The intentional structure of the work includes statements of a prescriptive nature: advice, wishes, warnings, recommendations, edifications, etc
