Abstract

Student-centered learning using learning media requires the role of the teacher as a facilitator, this can be realized by using E-Book media based on higher order thinking skills. The purpose of this study was to determine the importance of E-Books based on higher order thinking skills as learning media that can be utilized in improving high school students' learning outcomes. This research is an experimental study using one group pre-test and post-test pre-experimental design with a sample of economic learning outcomes. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling while the data collection technique used tests, namely pre-test, and post-test. The results of the analysis show that learning using E-Book media based on higher order thinking skills is effectively used in improving student learning outcomes.
