Abstract
The accurate simulation of the load conditions that occur in the operation of battery-powered electric locomotives, mainly specific variable and dynamic loads in the whole range of operation, from standstill to maximum speed, is an essential aspect for testing the control algorithms of traction systems with induction motors.
