R&D strategies for information sharing services in the broadband age

Abstract

This paper outlines NTT's R&D strategies for making Informative Ambience (an information-rich environment) a reality. Examples are given of broadband and ubiquitous services, based on the bi-directional super-high-speed photonic network and broadband wireless network.
