The definition of the sample was based on the demarcation of the oldest presential institution in each region, with a consolidated trajectory in the graduate and postgraduate levels. Abstract

The article, the result of postdoctoral research, analyzes the teaching of the Fundamentals of Social Work, considering the current trends related to training at the Brazilian level and those expressed in the formative operability within the Academic Training Units.
