A new actual simulation model in PSIM computer simulation program for CFL is used to study the power quality of the power system for different loading of the CFLs. The actual simulation model interacts with the variation of the supply voltage due to voltage drop in the series impedance of the feeders and transformers. Abstract

In This paper a new methodology for determining the influence of heavy loads from compact florescent lamps (CFLs) on distribution system is introduced.
