A Portable Six-Port - Network Analyzer - Application in X and Ka Band

Abstract

The design and performance of a portable 6-port network analyzer is presented. A data acquisition concept utilizing high performance electronic integrated circuitry together with integrated microstrip and fin-line 6-port detector modules have been developed and employed for two experimental setups in X- and Ka-band respectively. Full waveguide band operation with high accuracy performance has been achieved with fully automated and error corrected measurement procedures.
