Message from the chair

Abstract

The IEEE Power Electronics Specialists Conference brings together in a continuing forum the various specialists in electron devices, magnetics, control theory, instrumentation, circuits, systems, and power engineering for inter-specialty discussions of new ideas, research, development, and applications in the field of power electronics—that field of electrical and electronics engineering where significant amounts of electrical power flow through, or are controlled by, electronic devices. Sponsored by the Aerospace Electronic Systems Society, each year's conference is cosponsored or held in cooperation with other IEEE societies. This year's conference is held in cooperation with the Electron Devices Society, Magnetics Society, Industrial Control and Instrumentation Society, Circuits and Systems Society and Power Engineering Society.
