Abstract

The process of uranium concentrate precipitation from nitrate-sulfate pregnant leach solutions using hydrogen peroxide as a precipitant was investigated. It was established that the pH value of precipitation process must be 2.0–3.0. The amount of hydrogen peroxide should be at least 100 % in excess of stoichiometry. The pulp holding time was set at 60 minutes. The element composition of uranium concentrate obtained under these conditions fully meets the requirements of the international standard ASTM C967-13.
