Development of Set Top Box (STB) for DVB-T2 standard television based on android

Abstract

Set-Top Box (STB) is required in an analog or conventional television for receiving and decoding digital TV broadcasting signals. In this paper, we propose a STB for DVBT-T2 standard television based on android systems. The STB is composed of Al winner type A10 as decoder and PCTV NanoStick as tuner and demodulator. Experimentally demonstration of the STB is done successfully.
