Abstract

Beam port and multiplexing radiation efficiencies of a multi-beam antenna employing a decoupling and matching feeding network was investigated. The multiplexing efficiency is useful to evaluate the band width characteristics of the multi-beam antenna for MIMO applications. Excitation coefficients of the multi-beam antenna was also studied to consider the relation to the bandwidth characteristics of the radiation efficiency.
