The article discusses the sustainable financing of medicine, which is a necessary condition for the effective functioning of the health care system and the achievement of universal health coverage, which presupposes the availability of sufficient resources and the protection of the population from the financial burden. The paper presents the indicators of financing the healthcare sector for certain groups of countries.
