This paper makes up the shortfall that IC card data is only used in calculating the distance but not in mining meaningful information about the arrangement of route operation mode. Abstract

The public transport IC (Integrated Circuit) card widespread used provides a new data source for collecting passenger flow information. The effective information of bus traveling can be obtained from IC card data by using the data mining technology.
