According to the dynamic characteristics of phase difference of green wave between adjacent intersections, an improved hybrid system model of traffic signal optimization and coordination control was proposed through taking the minimum queue length of vehicles in each phase of an intersection within one signal period as performance index, so as to find the optimal phase conversion order and optimal green signal ratio for the coordinated control of traffic signals at two adjacent intersections under dynamic traffic conditions. Abstract
In order to alleviate the congestion of urban road network, the dynamic characteristics of the hybrid automaton model were analyzed in depth.
