Technological sensitivity of nonintuitive GA Optimized printed antennas

Abstract

In this article, several GA Optimized antennas with nonintuitive shapes are fabricated and measured. The technological sensitivities for the different realized prototypes are compared. This study points out the high technological sensitivity of antennas with unconventional geometries. The results of this study give rules allowing to directly reject from the optimization process the structures which are too sensitive.
