Abstract

This article develops a low-cost multi-channel impedance measurement device as a teaching tool based on the electrical impedance tomography (EIT) technique. The device is applied for the teaching of "signal analysis and processing" related courses in the subject of instrumentation science and technology, which can reconstruct images of conductivity distributions within a domain of interest and recognize a variety of human gestures based on machine learning.
