Abstract

Abstract In this paper, the authors have examined the trends in the labour market for surveyors/geomatic engineers over the past 40 years, studied the current involvement in and opportunities for surveying/geomatic engineering professionals in the spatial information industry, and made some predictions of the future prospects for the profession.
