An Empirical Study on the Competency Model of College Counselors

Abstract

As the backbone of the ideological and political work in Colleges and universities, the ability of counselors directly affects the training of talents in Colleges and universities. In order to improve the competency of college counselors, this paper first conducted a questionnaire survey and interviews, and designed a competency model for university counselors. The empirical research results show that this model can fully present the competency of university counselors and promote the training and construction of university counselors.
