Abstract
Wideband application, high antenna gain and high impedance bandwidth are the key parameters of all the wireless communication applications. This paper illustrates the design of a wideband Dielectric Resonator Antenna(DRA) with aperture coupling feeding techniques in order to highlight the above key parameters in improved form. The designed antenna has return loss nearly 20 dB at 60GHz which can be used in unlicensed 5G spectrum having improved bandwidth. The proposed antenna is capable to resonates at 60.2GHz providing a bandwidth of 5.7GHz. The HFSS software has been used as simulation soft ware from design point of view.
