Abstract

The LoRaWAN communication protocol is developed for long-range and low power wireless links of sensors and actuators networks. However, for large networks, the adoption of duty cycle limits are essential for a proper network operation. In order to mitigate this problem, in this work it is proposed three different duty cycle strategies for frame transmissions. For validation of the methods and effectiveness of the proposal, experimental results and pertinent analyzes using real devices are also presented.
