Abstract

One of the most risky maneuvers in suburban roads containing one lane for each direction is overtaking another vehicle which caused a large number of accidents and fatalities. Although, the single overtaking task counts as hazardous action, it becomes more challenging while involving in hybrid scenarios with comprising various factors. This paper presents an intelligent driver assistant system in scenarios performing overtaking maneuver of a long vision obstructing vehicle as a frontrunner with a probability of another vehicle in front with obstacle likelihood on the road.
