Features of adaptation of children of preschool and school age as part of their stay in a hospital (for example, the Children's Clinical Center for Medical Rehabilitation)

Abstract

The aim of the study is to identify psychosocial risk factors for difficulties of psychological adaptation to the conditions of the hospital in children of preschool and school age (in connection with the tasks of psychological support). The research method selected questionnaire. The sociological survey involved 156 children aged 6 to 16 years who are undergoing rehabilitation in the neuro-orthopedic department of the Amursky Children's Clinical Center for Medical Rehabilitation in Khabarovsk Statistical analysis of the data was carried out by calculating the relative values. According to the results obtained, at the end of rehabilitation treatment in the center, an overwhelming majority of patients showed an increase in the level of adaptation (p <0.01).
