Abstract

A coupled-fed antenna design capable of covering eight-band WWAN/LTE operation in a smartphone and suitable to integrate with a USB connector is presented. The antenna comprises an asymmetric T-shaped monopole as a coupling feed and a radiator as well, and a coupled-fed loop strip shorted to the ground plane.
