Abstract
This paper deals with the modeling and simulation of the ship electric propulsion system. This system is depicted by a non-linear mathematical model. This analysis highlights the operation of a propulsion system of a ship and allows the modeling of its elements. Through a non-linear global model we obtain the performance of a total propulsion system. The numerical simulation is realized through Matlab/Simulink software.
