Abstract

This paper proposes a methodology to characterize Compact Fluorescent Lamp (CFL) and Light Emitting Diodes (LED) lamp, based on measurements and simplified circuital models. The methodology relies on voltage and current measurements to estimate unknown parameters of the corresponding circuital model. The parameters estimation adopts linear least-squares and three optimization methods. The obtained results demonstrate the feasibility of the proposal based on real lighting devices.
