Abstract

Aubert & Duval TA6V ELI (UNS R56401) is an alpha-beta, titanium-aluminum-vanadium alloy that is normally used in the annealed condition. It is a purer version of Aubert & Duval TA6V, with a lower oxygen and iron content. Aubert & Duval TA6V ELI is especially popular due to its ductility at cryogenic temperatures and its excellent biocompatibility with the human body.
