Methods: a systematic approach based on general scientific methods of empirical and theoretical research, such as comparison, analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction. Results: in this study we explored the concept “educational space” as economic and social categories. Identified the role of educational space in development of economic and social processes in society; revealed the main characteristics of definitions of educational space by grouping categories. Scientific novelty: proposed the four-factor classification of the concepts of educational space according to the criterion of objectness of the study; presented the scheme of interrelation between the concepts of educational space according to the criterion of objectness. Abstract
Objective: to examine different interpretations of the definition “educational space”, to classify these interpretations according to the criterion of objectness of the study.
