Abstract

The article presents the results of the study of the information needs of users of public libraries, which was carried out in 2022 as part of the research «Study of the fund of public libraries of the Republic of Belarus to determine the most popular literature and the need for updating». The structure of interests of various categories of users was analyzed, preferred channels for obtaining information were revealed, ratings of the most popular authors (including Belarusian ones) and periodicals were presented.
