Abstract

The basic shape poem is written in a shape. There is a special shape poem called a “calligram.” This poem takes on the shape of the subject it is written about. A poem about rain would be written in the shape of a raindrop, a tulip poem in the shape of a tulip, a love poem in the shape of a heart, etc. Due to the fact there really aren’t any “rules” for these poems, the space below is for you to plan and create!
