Abstract
The possibilities of obtaining an additional grape yield from suckers in early ripening seed table varieties Dunav and Panse Précoce were studied. It was found that, under the soil and climatic conditions of the experiment, the vines of these varieties annually form suckers on their main shoots, from which an additional grape yield can be obtained by the end of the growing season. In the case of Dunav, this yield was 25.30 % and in the case of Panse Précoce − 32.44 % of the yield of the main shoots. In both varieties, there is a mathematically proven very strong positive correlation between most of the studied ampelographic parameters recorded in the main shoots and their suckers. The most frequently observed increase in their values in the main shoots leads to the same in the suckers. The analytical representation of these relationships by regression models proves their direction.
