Abstract
We experimentally study the impact of symbol rate on transmission performance. From 34.7 to 74.7Gbd SNR decreases by ∼1.5dB; hardware and nonlinear transmission effects cause 0.7dB and 0.8dB respectively. NLC benefit decreases at higher rates.
