Abstract

Hyper-pigmentation is a disease in which brown colored spots appear on skin. Hyper-pigmentation occurs mainly due to excess production of Melanin. Melanin is a pigment that gives color to skin and produced by Melanocyte cells. This paper introduces a possible design and development of a phototherapy device whose intensity is controlled wirelessly. Near infrared optical radiations are applied to treat Hyper-pigmentation.
