Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of fitness-type leisure sport activity on ego resilience and suicidal ideation of college students using structural equation model. To accomplish the research purpose, a total 350 college students in Seoul and Kyunggi province were recruited by the purposive sampling method. Based on collected questionnaires, 334 final data were analysed using the structural equation modeling using IBM SPSS 24.0 and AMOS 23.0. The results were found from the current study as follows: The following are the main research results: First, fitness-type leisure sport activity significantly influenced on variables of ego resilience: interaction efficient, self confidence, optimistic attitude and anger adjustment. Second, fitness-type leisure activity significantly effected on the suicidal ideation. Third, optimistic attitude of ego resilience impacted on suicidal ideation. Therefore this research could confirm that fitness-type leisure sport activity and optimistic attitude of ego resilience could decrease suicidal ideation.
