Key Standards for BT’s 21st Century Network

Abstract

This paper describes the main principles and architecture underlying BTpsilas 21st century network (21CN) and identifies the key standards that are being developed to enable it to be deployed cost effectively. The importance of the standards being developed by the IEEE SA in this deployment is highlighted.
