The process and mechanism of industry-university-research institute synergetic innovation: A knowledge flow perspective

Abstract

This paper defines the synergetic innovation (SI) process of Industry-University-Research institute (IUR) as an inter-organizational knowledge flow process. Based on it, we divide this process into three stages, and thus build an IUR-SI knowledge flow theoretical model. Then, we summarize a logical framework of IUR-SI mechanism from six aspects. It lays a theoretical foundation for future research on this topic.
