Abstract

Based on distributed artificial intelligence technology, the paper proposes a distributed expert system for analyzing system stability. The developed expert system is a multi-agent system, each processing agent of which can compute autonomously and cooperate with other agents to reason an accurate and satisfactory solution for stability analysis. In addition, a two-level control mechanism composed of local-control and meta-control is also proposed to achieve a high degree of goodness in analyzing system stability in this issue. To demonstrate its effect, the distributed expert system has been tested of practical data.
